Mike Sloggatt is a Wizard at math and angles. I wish he'd been my math teacher in high school!
- Gary Katz
|
| |
After four years of success at developing educational events for builders at local lumberyards, The Katz Roadshow has expanded. We're scheduling Finish Carpentry and Rough Carpentry Roadshows for 2007 with the goal of providing quality programs at leading progressive lumberyards. See for shows scheduled near your area.
Today, math is a must for builders and carpenters. But carpenters learn with their hands,on jobsites, not with books or chalkboards ()
|
| |
 |
| |
| Mike Sloggatt brings the jobsite to his presentations. He teaches real-world techniques so that carpenters and builders can master every angle. |
| |
 |
| |
| Mike's presentations demonstrate how to apply those lessons in the field, from radius porticos to elliptical ceilings and trim. But that's just the icing . . . |

gable-end walls and elaborate dormers are also Mike's
specialties.
|
 |
| |
| Mike blends production techniques
with custom quality: From using a Bigfoot saw
for cutting multiple studs, joists,
or rafters, to the latest fastening systems; from
framing nailers... |
|
| |
|
| To positive placement guns for
joist hangers and hardware. This is an opportunity

miss Mike's decking presentations. Decks are fast becoming
one of the problem areas for contractors, from drainage
to durability. New building material products require
special installation techniques. This information-heavy
clinic is designed to cover the hot spots. |

careful and professional installation. |
